Frequently Asked Questions

A Life and Career Coach can:

  • Guide you to create realistic goals and lead you down the right path to achieve them.
  • Help you break down your goals into smaller, more practical steps in order for the process to be the most effective.
  • Provide you or your child with valuable skills to use in all areas of life.
  • Create a plan that is tailored to your individual needs which is a vital part of the process.

When seeking guidance, trust should be valued above all else. The coach you select should be truly empathetic to you and your individual needs, leaving no doubt in your mind that you have been met with understanding. After all, you and/or your child has chosen to proactively make a change for the better. Naturally, you would want to ensure that your coach has best interests at heart.

Connecting with the client and developing open communication is the foundation of a coaching relationship. I am a determined and committed person, fully invested in my client’s goals and accomplishments. I will use my extensive knowledge of my field and expertise in successfully working with young adults with Asperger's and other learning challenges. I want to ensure you are left feeling empowered about yourself!

It is not uncommon for parents to recognize the value in working with a Life and Career Coach. Often, the only obstacle (and it is a big one) is that the child is not on board for a variety of different reasons. If that situation may arise, I will work with the parents and teach them the skills needed to help facilitate an action plan for their child to achieve his or her goals.

These coaching sessions bring tremendous value because parents are given the tools needed to ask the appropriate questions in order to identify specific steps needed to create their roadmap to success. Another benefit coaching may bring is improving the dynamic between the parent and child. This process becomes more of a team approach.
