My name is Max Marsh. I was born in Manhattan and grew up on Long Island, with my parents and two siblings. I have great memories of going to Manhattan to attend Broadway and off-Broadway plays as a kid and remember going to the American Museum of Natural History while in high school.
Now in my late-20s and living in Manhattan, I really enjoy checking out exhibits and interesting places throughout NYC and Long Island. Here are some of the sights I’ve enjoyed recently. As Spring arrives, I’m thinking of visiting some of the smaller local museums in New York. Hope you too will take advantage of the warmer weather and the many places to explore in New York.

Merchant’s House Museum (29 East 4th Street, Manhattan, NY)

The Tredwell family moved into the house in 1835, and they lived there for almost 100 years. It was opened as a museum in 1936. First NYC landmark.

New York Botanical Gardens is directly across from the main gate of Fordham University at 2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY)
NYBG describes itself as “a museum for plants, a center for learning, and a plant science leader in the Bronx”. It has beautiful grounds on 250 acres in the Bronx, with many unique exhibits.
