As an NYU certified life and career coach, Debra Solomon’s goal is simple — to help those with autism and other learning difficulties succeed in life. Whether you’re looking to get a job, apply to college, or live on your own, Debra is here for whatever challenges you may face. But we understand that not everyone learns the same way, that’s why at Spectrum Strategies, we offer several coaching styles, including personal and group classes.
The Benefits of Individual Coaching
Working on a one-on-one basis with Debra allows clients to specifically focus on what they’re working towards. What sets Debra apart from many other life coaches is that she doesn’t work with her clients in a classroom, she takes them out into the real world and helps them succeed in real life settings. In addition to real world experience, the benefits of working one-on-one with Debra are that clients:
- Are given individualized, personal attention.
- Can work at your own pace.
- Can plan classes around your schedule.
Group Coaching
Group coaching offers many advantages for people that individual classes sometimes don’t. At Spectrum Strategies, we offer two group classes: Strategies for Life and coaching sessions for two or more people.
Strategies for Life
Strategies for life is a 12 week, intensive coaching program that teaches adults, aged 18-35 how to navigate life after high school. Strategies for Life is a unique opportunity for peers to learn from one another and confide in each other. Through the good times and the bad, Debra and your “Strategies for Life” group is here to cheer you on through every step of the way.
Small Group Coaching
If you’re looking for more flexible, infrequent sessions, you may be interested in occasional meetings with a small group of people. Though every meeting is different, Debra is committed to teaching her clients three important life skills that she believes will help them overcome any obstacle. These are:
- Succeeding in a typical day of your life.
- How to make your days more productive.
- Managing life’s difficulties and challenges.
