The main message of the book we chose this month is how to raise children in order for them to develop certain values in life. The author gives you the perspective from Finland to France and from Germany to China. Americans can learn from other cultures and adapt them to our own. We can learn parenting strategies from around the world. There are studies that shoes countries outside America focus more on play and less on academics and young adults have more self esteem.

As we all know, having self esteem is the foundation needed to reach our goals.
